Review: Joru
Hero Sandeep Kishan has been trying hard to achieve good stature in the Tollywood industry. His last flick “Ra Ra Krishnayya” did not yield the desired results. However, his earlier movie “Venkatadri Express” has created good impact among the audience due to comedy track.
Yet, another time Sandeep Kishan is back with the comedy quotient with his latest film “Joru”.
With a lot of expectations, the movie has been released today (November 7th).
Story:-
Annapurna alias Anu (Raasi Khanna) arrives in India after studying in abroad. She comes to India after 16 years to meet her father Sadashivam (Shiyaji Shinde). He was a three time MLA in Vishakhapatnam. Due to a problem that occurred in flight landing, Anu takes a cab from Hyderabad to reach Visakhapatnam. During her travel in the cab, Ajay tries to kill Anu. Sundeep (Sandeep Kishan) saves her from Ajay. In this regard, Sandeep however falls in love with Anu. Later, they become apart due to some circumstances. Sandeep, who in search of Anu come across different girls with the same name. Who is Ajay ? Why did Ajay try to kill Anu ? How Sandeep finds Anu ? How he gains her love ? To know all these, one has to watch the movie on the screen itself.
Positives:-
* The movie is a romantic entertainer with little comedy.
* Sandeep Kishan looked good in the movie.
* Raasi Kanna is cute and appears beautiful in the movie. Her expressions are good. She has done a fabulous job when compared to the other characters.
* The biggest highlight of the film is the role essayed by comedian Brahmanadam. He plays a role called Pelli Koduku, which has been inspired from a real-life character.
* Sapthagiri offered laughs as usual.
* Shiyaji Shinde delivered his best performance as villain.
Negatives:-
* Even though, Sandeep Kishan looked good in the film, he did not attract the audience. He acting is not up to the mark as expected.
* Even though, there are three heroines, the director failed to show them in glamorous way.
* Even though, this movie is a comedy entertainer, it did not attract the audiences.
Technical Aspects:-
* Even though, director Kumar Nagendra improved a lot from his debut movie Gundello Godari, he failed to reach the expectations.
* Production values are good.
* Cinematography is quiet well. Locations that are showcased in the film are nice.
* Even though, the album attracted the audience, BGM is not good.
* The editing of the film is choppy as the transition from one scene to another is very abrupt.
Telugumirchi Analysis:-
Joru which claimed itself to be a romantic comedy entertainer is neither romantic nor there is a comedy quotient properly. On the whole, it is just one time entertainer. Those who doesn’t have any other work for this weekend to perform, can have a glance over it

Review: Brother of Bommali
Allari Naresh always took the path of entertainment in his movies. He once again entered the fray to feast the audience with his latest film “Brother of Bommali”. Karthika is playing the titular role in the film. The movie has created a lot of positive buzz in the media ever since it was announced. Amidst a lot expectations, the movie has been released world wide today (November 7th). Let us see, whether the movie has reached the expectations or not.
Story:-
Ramu (Naresh) and Lakshmi (Karthika) are twins. Ramu is a meek person, while his sister Lakshmi is very courageous. From her childhood itself, Lakshmi dominates Ramu in each and every aspect. At the same, she saves her brother when ever he gets into trouble. In the mean time, Ramu comes across a girl named Shruthi (Monal Gajjar) and falls in love with her. Their love becomes successful and they decide to get married. However, Ramu’s family goes by the general tradition and decides to make his marriage only after her sister Lakshmi gets married. But, Lakshmi tells them that she will marry only Harsha, whom she loves a lot. The movie takes a turning point, when they come to know that Harsha’s engagement has already been done with a rich lass. In such circumstances, what Ramu has done to carry out his sister’s marriage with Harsha forms the crux of the story.
Positives:-
* The movie is completely a comedy and family entertainer. The novel idea taken for the story is really appreciable.
* Allari Naresh and Karthika are the main pillars of the film. The comic timing between Allari Naresh and Karthika is the main highlight of the movie. Allari Naresh’s punch dialogues are entertaining.
* Karthika really mesmerized the audience in an action packed role in the film. In one word, she can be considered as the Hero of the film. Karthika has really done a brilliant job. She deserves tons of appreciation.
* The tall Monal looks totally gorgeous with sparkling eyes in the film.
* Harshvardhan Rane, Ali, Brahmanandam, Jayaprakash Reddy, Naagineedu and Vennala Kishore have done justice to their roles.
* The climax of the film is also encouraging with good twists.
Negatives:-
* Even though the comedy is hilarious, it looks routine as in Allari Naresh’s previous films.
* The story is predictable most of the times.
* At some instances, the movie seems to have been dragged a little bit, which could have been avoided easily.
Technical Aspects:-
* The director B Chinni has done a wonderful job with the film.
* The Production Values of Siri Cinema banner are good.
* Sekhar Chandra has composed an average music for the movie. Even though the album got a positive response, the background music in the film is not much impressive.
* Camerawork is quite well.
* Editing could have been better, as the movie seems to be dragged at some instances.
Telugumirchi Analysis:-
For all those, who need an entertainment for just about two hours, Brother of Bommali is a better option for them. Even though, its a normal film, Karthika’s action packed role becomes a feast to the audience.

Story:
The story starts with the serious intro of Village Head Sivarama Raju (Jagapathi Babu), who leads a prestigious life and can do anything to save his respect. Raju (Manoj) a careless boy heads the youth team and is always involved in tug of war with the senior citizens of the village headed by Sivarama Raju. Both these teams always gets involved in some form of clashes in the village. In the mean time, Raju loves the teacher Sunny (Sunny Leone) of the school in the village. He forces one of the student Kavitha (Rakul Preet Singh) to deliver his love letters and gifts to Sunny. However, Sunny gets married to someone, leaving Raju heartbroken. Meanwhile, Sivarama Raju arranges for the wedding of his minor daughter. But, Raju stops the marriage with the help of Police. Who is Kavitha ? How Raju falls in Love with her ? What is the reason behind Raju stopping Sivarama Raju daughter’s marriage form the crux of the story, that has to be watched on the screen itself.

HNY is the kind of film that doesn’t allow us to dwell on the crimes of excesses, of which there is plenty in this stretched-out plot . The carnival-like flavour of presentation is not quite the aesthetic experience that one expects from a film with such a classy line-up of actors and technicians. Instead what we get in abundance are in-house jokes where Shah Rukh Khan does dialogue take-offs with his co-stars from his own famous films.
Speaking of take-offs, there is an excess of shirtless scenes featuring Mr Khan and Sonu Sood who seem to enjoy dropping their shirts for no other reason but to become instant eye-candy for the ladies in the audience. For most of the playing time the main actors play graceless dancers masquerading as wannabe winners at an international dance contest whose owner Jackie Shroff(scowling constantly) has a strange aversion to all things Indian.

You'll find yourself chuckling and cringing alternately while watching Happy New Year, in which director Farah Khan skillfully sets up a heist plot against an international dance competition scenario. It's a curious premise, and Farah brings many of the same elements that she applied to good use in Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, namely lots of self-referencing, affectionate nods to 70s Bollywood, and the ability to occasionally laugh at oneself. But there are also tiring revenge clichés, a shrewdly devised patriotic track, and that formidable length - a full 2 hours and 59 minutes!

Happy New Year, alas, isn't the sharpest tool in her shed, and while there is some good ol' fun to be had in being thwacked on the head by a blunt instrument, it loses its novelty in the third hour. Yessir, ladies and gents, this is a three-hour film, and -- for a film that shares more of its DNA with an episode of Scooby Doo than it dies with Ocean's Eleven -- that's way, way too much to bear. Not to mention Abhishek Bachchan whose superpower is barfing.

Unabashedly bad movies that mop up obscenely big bucks are director Farah Khan's forte. She was however third time unlucky with Tees Maar Khan. It was put down by many to the fact that the film did not have her proven good luck charm, SRK, on board. So for her fourth directorial outing, the choreographer has brought back her Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om star, complete with gym-toned abs, a host of dog-eared tricks and a familiar set of talismanic mannerisms, to foist more of the same on the audience.

Low on logic, and high on opulence, her movies flourish on song and dance, and rides purely on Shah Rukh Khan’s shoulders, or might we add abs! Her ‘Happy New Year’, however, is her weakest dance link, or should we say the “worst” yet. It’s never about the dance but about comedy of the lowest rank and over-the-top patriotism. The robbery and its build-up should have been water-tight, but their clowning around takes up a lot of screen time making it a tedious watch. Happy New Year is two distinct films rolled in one. While the first hour is breezy, fun and pretty watchable, the second hour is a convoluted mess with a heist angle that doesn’t work, a romantic track that seems forced, the vivaciousness lacking from the camaraderie of the characters and the sappyness of a dukhbhari daastan of a backstory. It is a half baked film that uses all the regular formulaic heist tools and naturally offers nothing unseen or unexpected. The predictability of the climax was the most fatal blow for the film. It isn’t unwatchable but horridly disappointing.

Shah Rukh Khan has worked hard on his body for this film and he does a fine job of flaunting it. Extremely full of energy most of the times, he entertains. Deepika puts in sincere efforts but is limited because of the writing. Boman Irani plays a Parsi and is the funniest of the lot. Sonu Sood is brilliant. Abhishek Bachchan performs well too and so does Vivaan Shah. The challenge is to entertain and Happy New Year falls short in entertaining, it's long length of over three hours being the weakest point. There is no doubt that Farah Khan knows the craft well but she is yet to give an entertainer like Om Shanti Om. If you go and watch Happy New Year, you will surely sit through it but will you walk out smiling? I can't take that guarantee.

The film relies more on the two-minute noodle brand of patriotism than it does on common sense in order to further the plot. Featuring some adorable cameos from Anurag Kashyap and Vishal Dadlani and (yes, you’re reading this right) Sajid Khan. This could have been a much better film if only it had dared to move out of its comfort zone. Happy New Year is a film that’s bound to make you feel good, but trust me, the feeling won’t last.

Despite having everything going for it, you wonder why they didn’t fine-tune the screenplay a bit more. There are logic issues; there are sensibility issues and in a heist film, you can’t have that. Fortunately for Farah, she pulls out a trick every time you begin to look at your phone screen. I wish Boman Irani would stop playing the lonesome Parsi guy – he’s better than that. Make this Diwali even more special with Happy New Year. One of the best entertainers of 2014.

One sure hopes that Farah had spent a little more time on the movie itself than on the promotions, because even though it is sure that the movie will ride the wave of a Diwali weekend and Shah Rukh's popularity, therefore do good business, this is her flimsiest movie yet. The spectacular entertainment that is expected out of her is all but a fizz. It may be entertaining in parts, but at best it is a one time watch. Watch the movie if you are a Shah Rukh Khan fan – but the movie has nothing more than his fabulous body to offer.

It is Shah Rukh Khan, who leads the film on his able shoulders right from the word go. In this film, he has been portrayed more as an action hero who can sing and dance, which again, the King Khan has done full justice to. Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, does full justice to her character Marathi bar dancer. Deepika has definitely evolved a lot as an actress and she proves that yet again with her comic role in this film. Sonu Sood excels in his role and looks convincingly funny. Abhishek Bachchan is back to doing loud comedy in this film after BOL BACHCHAN. In this film, be ready for a double dose of Abhishek as he is seen in a double role.The ever-versatile Boman Irani, yet again proves that he is a bankable actor and such roles are tailor made for him. Vivaan Shah also performs well with so many experienced actors around him. All in all, HAPPY NEW YEAR is definitely a smash hit film, which has blockbuster written all over it. The film will set new records in the days to come. Go for it!

Deepika Padukone is the one that manages to stand out a little, and that could be because there is no other female competition. It helps that she is an excellent dancer, and has grown by leaps and bounds, both in the moving-and-acting departments, from her first film ‘Om Shanti Om’, in which she starred opposite SRK. A few riffs in the song-and-dance numbers remind you of Farah’s original talent as a choreographer, and Padukone is twinkly-toed enough, most times, to keep slackness momentarily at bay. As is Shah Rukh’s sexy-weary schtick, when it gets a chance to come to the fore.

It’s entertaining for sure but it would have been easier for the viewer to form a positive opinion about the film if it would have been edited by at least 20 more minutes. The ‘close to three hours’ duration makes one uneasy and also induces repetition. Happy New Year is a film which the crowd will force you to see as it has all the elements of the popular Bollywood. The presence of a big starcast will only add to its charm but then your opinion about it will be mostly dependent on the kind of cinema you want to see in future. As far as a final verdict is concerned, there is nothing wrong with Happy New Year if all that you are looking for is a good timepass and entertainment.
Karthikeya telugu movie review,ratings
Here is yet another attempt to mix fact and fiction to dish out a suspense thriller with a rom-com flavour. Director Chandoo Mondeti comes with an interesting topping called science but this smattering of science doesn't salvage an otherwise pedestrian story-telling exercise.

Performance :-
Coming to Nikhil, he suits the medico role perfectly. It is quite surprising and impressive to see him perform the way he did. Nikhil had a lot of scope to showcase his talent and he delivers it with a lot of ease. Comedy quotient in the film has been maintained quite nicely in the first half with Praveen doing a good job as Nikhil’s friend.
Swathi’s character doesn’t really have much scope in the film.
Story:-
The story revolves around the famous Subramanyeswara Swamy temple in Subramanyapuram. The temple is shut down for mysterious reasons, and all those who try to find out the story behind this keep getting killed by a deadly snake bite.
On the other hand, Katrhik(Nikhil) is an intelligent medical student who is posted to Subramanyapuram along with his group. Once he lands there, weird things start happening to him and his group. A pretty upset Karthik decides to take things in his hands and solve the mystery himself.
What is the mystery behind the temple ? Why are people dying of snake bites ? Will Karthik be able to solve the mystery ? That forms the rest of the story.
Plus Points:-
Major plus point of the film is the interesting story. Right from the word go, the entire film is quite interesting. The suspense factor and mythological touch have been superbly executed.
Yet another major plus point of the film is its background score. Shekhar Chandra elevates the film to another level with his tout background score. First half of the film is very engaging, and the way the love story has been weaved into this suspense thriller is quite good
Minus Points:
Even though the film ends on a superb note, the climax is a bit rushed. May be the audience who are glued to their seats till the end, expect something more from the climax.
Second half goes a bit slow when compared to the first half.Even though, the story starts on a decent note and adds suspense, the climax is a bit weak and puerile.
Technical Aspects:-
The technical departments did a good job, especially Shekar Chandra's BGM and the cinematography. These two elements lend a rich texture to this film. A bit of extra technique from the director's side could have made 'Karthikeya' a slick film to root for.

Story:
The storyline is simple. Abhi Ram (Ram Charan) is an NRI, London. He loves Indian culture and respects human values. One day, His father tells about his joint family in India. Ram Charan goes to India to make his dad’s wish true. How he enters his family and wins the love of everyone forms the rest of the story.
Performance :
All those who had doubts about how Ram Charan will do an out and out family film, need to watch GAV to clear their doubts. Charan is just outstanding in the film. Right from his look to his performance, he has owned this film and has given his career best performance. He surprises you with his emotional acting capabilities and is mind blowing during the last half an hour.
Kajal Agarwal rocked with her appearance everywhere. She is looking ultra beautiful and shared good chemistry with Ram Charan.
Srikanth proves what a talented actor he is. He suits his role perfectly and delivers a superb supporting role.
Kamalini Mukharjee is beautiful and ok according to her portion.
Young actor Adarsh is superb in his negative role.
Technically:
- Entire credit goes to Krishna Vamshi for giving TFI a memorable and feel good film. As always, he extracted the best performance from the star cast.The way Krishna Vamsi has showcased family emotions and human values is simply superb..
- Screenplay is awesome..Never bored till the end. Will addict to the screenplay.
- Bandla Ganesh’s production values are ultra rich. Not compramized anywhere!

Loukyam Movie Story :
Venkateshwarulu (Gopichand) a happy go lucky guy, helps his friend run away with Neetu (Shyamala) from Warangal. The first 15 minutes is a mindless hotch-potch to establish the main characters, plot and story be damned. Before you know it, Venky falls head-over-heels in love with Babji’s sister Chandrakala (Rakul Preet) in Hyderabad. There's a villain too in this Keshavulu (Mukesh Rushi), who tries to damage Babji’s reputation in Warangal. Babji (Sampath) takes away Chandrakala to Warangal knowing that she fell in love with someone. In the meantime, Keshavulu plans to kill Chandrakala, but Venky rescues her from the issue. Then he tries to make her family convince for his love. Will Venky marry his true love forms the rest of the storyline.
Performance :
Gopichand looked very different and energetic in loukyam. His dressing was too good and he is the centric character in the film. Rakul Preet is one of the added attraction to the movie. Bramhanandam comedy was good & 30 years Prithvi Raj comedy is too hilarious in the movie.
Techinical Team :
Sreewass direction is good but very routine story. Gripping screenplay & comedy quotient make the film better.Gopi Chand performance is the major highlight & family scenes are bit dragged. Anyway he scores good marks for the screenplay.
Anup scored very good tunes for Loukyam & Bgm was adequate for the content.
Camera work is good & neat, songs captured very well in abroad locations.
Last Word :
Telugu film industry’s reluctance to let go of timeworn storylines that were all a rage decade ago. But, yes if you want only entertainment without looking at any other aspect of movie-making,Nothing New - But You Enjoy.

Story Line:
So the story is how Mahesh Babu takes revenge on the villain who is responsible for death of his brother and with fun filled entertainment for family and action for youth and punch dialogues for both Class and Mass.
The film story runs in Tadipatri town of Ananthapuram District, Rayalaseema with Mahesh Babu as a Circle Inspector role.
Analysis:
The movie opens with a flash back scene where Rajendra Prasad is getting ready for taking a orphan child Dattatu Ceremony while there will be a fight in the scene between villain gang and Rajendra Prasad, His own son gets in to that fight and kills one of the Villain, The orphan child as a gratitude takes that case on him as he did that murder and will be sentenced to jail. The Orphan child is none other than Super Star Prince Mahesh Babu.After couple of scenes he will be introduced as a CI SANKAR, Mahesh Babu dialogue delivery and action was splendid a full meals to all fans and the director’s brilliance he controlled it well so that it does full justice to the character and both mass and class audions will be pleased.Tamannah Bhatia’ Character is a little faded with Mahesh Babu since he dominates and runs a one man show in the movie with full performance and punch dialogues.Story Continues and Interval. First half runs with a good pace.
Second Half once again Rajendra Prasad comes into scene a little flash black while his own son will be a collector by that time and all the people will be against him and make many allegations on him there will be villain’s hand in this prospect. Rajendra Prasad’s own son will hang himself along with his wife, this scene leads Mahesh Babu to take revenge on the people who made this happen i.e Villain who is responsible for all these things.

Power Premiere Show Talk :
Ravi Teja is flawless as usual as his body language and dialogue delivery brings that awesomeness to police dress. But he hasn’t maintained that same intensity seen in Vikram Rathod character earlier. Still, his comedy timing, trademark expressions and clean-shave look impresses us.
Hansika has come up with another routine role, that needs her scary expressions and thigh shows. Except filling that glamour slot, there is nothing much she could boast about. On the other hand, Regina’s character in flashback hasn’t had enough stamina that commands a terrific performance from her. She did her best to look vivacious, and succeeded.
Brahmandam is throughout the flick again, but with Raviteja’s domination in effect, there is no way his histrionics could shine out. He has poured his branded weapons all again, and succeeded a little. Sapthagiri’s comic attempts are little relief compared to other comedians in the movie. This young guy has a big way to go for sure. Tamil actor Sampath is the main villain but his characterization failed to elevate his acting skills. Brahmaji, Ajay and Subbaraju are as usual. Kota Srinivasa Rao and Posani have filled the screen with the regular presence. For a popular villain like Mukesh Rushi, this is usual yet again. Prakash Raj is wasted.

Rabhasa Review - Star Performance:
NTR did his job in multiple shades given to his character by director extraordinary. As usual NTR comedy timing was in perfect sink with flow of the film. This time NTR dialogues are crisp , his action sequences are fine but unfortunately he danced bit less compared to his previous films.
Samantha was limited to small role , its mix of western-traditional costumes for her. Her dance skills are treat to watch and her chemistry with NTR is OK. Pranitha completely took Samantha THUNDER in Rabhasa, she looks gorgeous and looks ideal for padaharu annala telugu ammayi.
Brahmanandam gave ONE MAN SHOW as RAJ in Rabhasa, he will make you laugh everytime he appears on screen. Brahmi is biggest asset for this movie after NTR. Rest of the characters gave their full support and did justice to their roles.
Rabhasa Review - Techinical Team:
Santosh Srinivas succeeded as director and presented NTR in a likable way to Nandamuri fans. His story was routine, screenplay was week in first half, while in second half it was racy. Dialogues of Santosh Srinivas are crispy and neat which carry strong emotions where ever needed.
Thaman songs sounded new this tome without drum beats, Rakasi Rakasi Song is highlight best rest of the songs are average. Cinematography of Shyam is one of the positive factors of this film. Editing could have be better for first half and production values are lavish.

Santosh Srinivas directional rabhasa turned out as a commercial family entertainer. Young Tiger NTR Steal the show. Samantha looks pretty hot in Garam Garam Song. Climax Fight Scenes will be goosebumps for NTR fans. Few scenes in both 1st half and 2nd half were good. Major Highlights of the film are NTR’s energetic performance, Dance, Fights, Comedy track with Brahmanandam and racy screen-play. S.S.Thamann’s Back Ground Music (BGM) was okay. Main drawbacks of the film were thin story line and it’s made with routine commercial formulae. Finally, Rabhasa is a big feast for NTR fans on this festival.

Story :-
This film has a simple story line of how a young bunch of four friends, who are successful and happy enjoying their bachelor hood get their lives tossed up after they fall in love.
Each one of them meets his respective girlfriends, and what happens to them once they start dating and spending time with each other. Will they end up happy in love, or fall neck deep into problems after these girls enter their life.
For all these answers you need to watch this film on big screen.
Star Performance :-
All four tracks have some moments. Yet the one involving Manaas - Shilpi Sharma and Manaas - Dimple Chopde are the most interesting. The Manaas - Shilpi Sharma track is made immensely watchable because of lovely Shilpi Sharma, who is faithfully solid and believable. Manaas is supremely natural and is the best actor in the male league. Naidu does an average job, but his scene of outburst in front of the group is funny (Click Here) probably works better as the scene has been well written in the original. Dimple Chopde acts with an admirable ease and impresses a lot. Rakshita makes an ordinary attempt. Manali Rathod is not a heroine material. Gopal Sai, Ashutosh and Chandra are marred by weak characterizations. Shravya Reddy Cameo is nice. Madhurima Banerjee looks red hot in the special track.
Plus Points:-
All the actors who did the leading roles have performed well. Revanth looks good and acts decently. Rakshita gets a plump role in this flick and acts well for her character.
But it is Maanas, who walks away the cake. This young kid, looks good and acts even better. He has a bright future and should cleverly choose his films.
The entire set up and the way story is set also looks cool. The way the four friends narrate their stories to Sanyasi’s is also shown humorously.
Glamour quotient and songs have been shot effectively. Some jokes and first ten minutes of the film is quite interesting.
Minus Points :-
Green signal is a remake of the super hit Hindi film Pyar Ka Punchnama and one story is copied from the Emraan Hashmi episode from the film Dil To Baccha Hai Ji.
Even though the director chooses a Hindi film, he could not execute the plot effectively. The Hindi film had hilarious comedy which is missing from this film.
Those who have watched this film, will exactly know what is going to happen next. But for those who have not watched, even they can predict the next scenes.
Not even one story fails to register in the mind, and the over the top and irritating gay comedy by Jabasdasth fame Chammak Chandra will make you feel sleepy.
The film is quite predictable most of the times. Some cheesy double meaning comedy, could have also been avoided in this flick.
Technical Aspects:-
Even though songs by JB are decent, at least two of them could have been avoided. They not only disturb the flow of the film but come at crucial interesting points.
Camera work is pretty good in the film. They way the first club song has been shot is really good. The visuals look good and the production values have not been compromised.
Even though the director took an interesting subject, he could not present it well. As said earlier, he could not elevate the comedy angle and entertainment factor in the story.
Neither of the stories have been established properly and the conclusion was also not justifiable. Editing of the film is sleek and so is the background score.
Verdict:-
This film could have clicked big time. With perhaps an extensive rewrite of the Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji script, focusing on three characters rather than wasting time on Gay relationship - a brutal edit to give a shorter running time - Promising end to the relationships would have helped the film in some way. This could have perhaps been a good break-out film for Vijay Maddhala, only if he could have worked on some refreshing subject rather spo
iling some well made Bollywood films. As it stands, Green Signal isn't one to rush to the cinema, but instead best enjoyed in parts on DVD or telecast.

ANR’s last film Manam has hit the screens officially with the premiers. We gets exclusive review from the premiers. The movie is directed by Vikram Kumar of “Ishq” fame. Anoop rubens gave the music for the film while the entire “Akkineni Family” remained the main cast. Sreya and Samantha shined in female leads while “Akkineni Family” produced this film. Story: The movie begins with Naga chaitanya and Samantha introduced as couples and Nagarjuna as their son. Nagarjuna loses his parents in an accident. But coincidentally he comes across them after many years. How he enjoys being with his younger parents forms the entire first half. How ANR is related to Nagarjuna forms the twist of the tale. Sreya pairs up Nagarjuna in the second half. Whether the story has a happy ending or not has to be watched on the screen.
Performances: Naga Chaitanya improved a lot in the film. Nagarjuna remained the heart of the film making the film revolving around him. Samantha and Sreya both had got characters which had good scope to perform and both of them excelled. ANR is at his best. His pure smile steals the show in the entire second half. Ali, Nellore Giri, MS Narayana and Brahmanandam did justice to the small roles offered to them.
Technical Aspects: If there is anybody who deserves a special praise, it is definitely the director. No director couldn’t have showcased such a typical story at such an ease. Background score is another best aspect of the film. Anoop deserves praise too.Cinematography is also at its best.

Story:
Sai (Sairam Shankar) is running an own travel business. He happens to fall in love with Chaitra (Jasmine). But she leaves him at all sudden which makes him so disappointing. Days are passed by Sai comes across Simran, (Priyadarsini) who is a bank employee. Unexpectedly, Chaitra comes to his life again.
Both love Sai which is caused him to be in dilemma. Sai plans a Bangkok trip to make Simran and Chaitra as close friends. With whom he will be continuing rest of his life to be seen on big screen.
Performances:
Sairam Shankar is apt for the character and he did justice. Although his express looks flat at many scenes, he is good enough to entertain audiences. Jasmine is purely feast for youth even her role is limited on screen. Priyadharshini could not carry the mood and character is not up to the mark. M S Narayana is fine in his restrained role.
Analysis:
Production values are so good for this film. What makes this film to be poor on the screen is half baked story and immature selection of artistes. Of course, script itself is weak to grab the attention of audiences. Makers did not take a right script to offer what audiences expect. Although many films are turned to be damp squib at the box-office with same sort of stories, makers are not keep enough to rope in wise technicians to amuse film buffs. First half is somewhat better when it comes to second half, it is acid test for movie lovers to sit and watch the film till the end card.
Technical Aspects:
Dialogues by Ravindra’s dialogues are real good and cinematography by Dasaradhi Sivendra is decent and he did quality job. Fights are not so good but fine. Direction of the film is the disadvantage. If director had taken more care on script, it would have been another Badri. Inadequate stuff is seen clearly in this film.
Final Say:
Dillunodu does not offer anything new for movie lovers.
